COMMAND AND PROHIBITION
Kalimat Perintah dan Larangan
Hi guys!
Apakah yang dimaksud dengan command itu?
Command disebut juga imperative – kalimat perintah, menyuruh seseorang untuk melakukan sesuatu. Bentuk kalimat ini selalu diawali dengan verb infinitive- verbal command, Contoh:
Bagaimana ciri imperative itu?
Imperative itu bisa berupa kalimat perintah
positip, atau berupa kalimat perintah negatip atau larangan (prohibition).
Apa fungsi kalimat imperative?
Kalimat imperative berfungsi memberikan perintah (command) maupun larangan (prohibition) kepada orang lain atau lawan bicara. Masing-masing kalimat perintah dan kalimat larangan bisa berupa kalimat nominal (nominal sentence), dan kalimat verbal (verbal sentence), seprti berikut ini.
